I have 6 samples in my Westen blot.

I'm checking how much my target protein abundances increase with drug treatments.

The first one is control and the other 5 samples are the experimental groups with drug treatments.

I expected to see thicker and darker bands in the experimental groups because they have much more target protein than the control group. However, I see multiple bands instead.

(The control group does not have multiple bands)

Does anyone know why this happens? Sorry, I'm very new to western blotting.

I'm not sure whether this happens because of the concentration of secondary antibodies.

Thank you for your comments in advance.
