The Public Relations Manager will be in charge of developing and implementing the public relations strategies and working closely with internal stakeholders of Tech Science Press (TSP) on promotional opportunities and potential crisis scenarios.
➡ Essential Duties/Tasks/Responsibilities
✅ Planning, developing and implementing public relations (PR) strategies and campaigns
✅ Collaborating with internal teams to ensure the successful implementation of joint activities and projects.
✅ Working directly with external parties, developing and maintaining effective relationships with corporate clients and agencies.
✅ Providing support and assistance to external parties, addressing their queries, concerns, and requests in a timely manner.
✅ Identifying and pursuing opportunities to collaborate on joint initiatives, projects, and events.
✅ Staying updated with industry trends, policy changes, and advancements in database management, publishing ethics, academic research, and library services.
✅ Continuously monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of partnerships, and proposing strategies for improvement. ➡ Essential Requirements:
✅ Bachelor degree in Communications, Journalism, Languages, Marketing or equivalent.
✅ 5+ years of working experience in public affairs, public relations and communications, preferably with STM publishing as well as international marketing experience.
✅ A strong team player who is proactive, highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks
✅ Ability to adapt to significant time differences with colleagues, ability to perform ad-hoc duties as required
✅ Excellent command in both written and spoken English
This position will be primarily based in TSP London office. TSP employees work a hybrid work schedule, consisting of working onsite and offsite. While always welcome to work in the office, employees may work from a location of their choice besides designated onsite schedules. Onsite schedules can be negotiated during interview.
