The study is focused on bridging the gap in microplastics knowledge in the Lagos lagoon system, Nigeria. Firstly we have used IR to to assess the samples for functional groups. Now we wish to know which exact dominant microplastic congeners are present in the extracts. We seek explanation on the analytical procedures to use and possible collaborations with research labs focused on microplastic assessment.
