Usually mM (millimolar/L) to lower concentration (ppm) is used depending on solution absorbance for calibration purpose. However, it should be remembered that the absorbance should not be greater than one. If absorbance is greater than one then lower concentration is preferential. Good luck.
dear Amin! But my concentration is more...It is going upto Absorbance value of 4..How to meausre the concentration in this case with UV vis spectrophotometer?
I got a good trend on mixing 5 mg of particles in 100 ml But on mixing 45 mg in 100 ml of water is giving Absorbance value more than 4...
According to your guidance, i ll have to make a solution of 4.5 mg in 1000 liters and test the absorbance...The resultant absorbance value will have to be multiplied by 10 in order to get the Absorbance value of 45 mg of particles... Am I right?
