I'm designing a lab-scale methane pyrolysis reactor, with biogas as the original feedstock. I am willing/inclined to purify the feedstock (so only methane remains) to reduce the number of undesired reactions. To simplify the system, I am hoping to use the carbon, resulting from pyrolysis, to act as a catalyst to promote further reactions. The desired carbon form is the SWCNT.
