How can we model multiphase flow of DEM (discrete element modelling) and SPH (smooth particle hydrodynamics)/ lattice boltzman method using comsol. Also if there is any other good software to perform similar problem
COMSOL is a solver and simulation software based on the finite element method which is used to solve flow equations. It is thus different than the Lattice Boltzmann method. Regarding the debris, COMSOL has its own particle tracing module which is different and simpler than the DEM. If you are willing to use a coupled DEM/LBM to solve your problem, COMSOL is not the right software.
You can check these studies which deal with problems similar to yours:

Dr. Ha Bui (Ha H. Bui ) combined DEM and SPH to calculate the 2-phase of soil and water problem. DEM calculated for the soil phase and SPH calculated for the water phase.
SPH method is a more computationally efficient method compared to DEM. However, it can not simulate many physical phenomena such as: segregation, particle-scale movements and so on.
