Is it OK to temporarily store reagents (primer stocks, hot star tax, etc.) that are normally kept at -20 in a -80 freezer? We just noticed that the temp in our -20 is dropping and it turns out that it needs a 24-hour thaw. Is it OK to transfer its contents to the -80 for 24 hours? Help!
