Hi all, I'm teaching Entomology 101 and would like suggestions for a textbook. I'm looking at Gullen and Cranston's The Insects an Outline of Entomology, Daly and Doyen's Insect Biology and Diversity. Both seem good, but one is stronger in Insect Biology and the other covers things well enough, but has keys for identification. I'm also wondering about costs for undergraduates. I myself trained using Borrer and DeLong, but is $300.00 for a book for students who may never take another entomology course?
Any input is welcome, thanks!
