i am going to model powder compaction process using unit cell approach. i have assumed a BCC lattice structure for the powder. how to mesh a sphere? want some relevant paper.

Which model are you going to apply and which reference material will you basing your model on?

for a begining now i will use very normal plasticity model and i will use copper as my reference material

I have used the Kawakita/Ludde model in my studies and found it useful.There are other models also available. I would recommend look at the articles listed by Florian Glodeanu above. The paper by Ogbonna and fleck is very useful and practical.
