I have said many times in various places that lack of sufficient knowledge and consciousness and physical and mental illness are the root causes of most of the human unrest and problems.
One of the major reasons is the excessive sexual excitement of people. Uncontrollable intense libido is actually a symptom of illness. Abnormal sexual excitement is behind many disturbances, many incidents, criminal acts and complex problems of human society.
Just as the absolute necessity of mental development for true human development has been neglected, so too are people at a loss for remedies for this unbearable and overwhelming sexual urge which is caused by illness. In front of parents and society, the children and the new generation are going astray and downward towards destruction, yet nobody seems to do anything.
People are so disillusioned and their minds are so engrossed in superstition that even if you point your finger at them, they will not return.
A man by nature is largely controlled by instincts which for the most part (when not properly regulated) result in men doing unthinkable things. As evidenced in the work of the famous Psychiatrist, Sigmund Freud, the human mind is largely dominated by the id, which is responsible for stimulating feelings from within (innately).
The sexual drive which is known as the libido, is a very powerful instinct in a man. Regulating the excessive demands of the id is the responsibility of the ego which is shaped through human interaction by a process called socialization.
Therefore, uncontrollable intense sexual excitement is not necessarily a symptom of illness. Judging from a psychological point of view, this could be a result of a disorder (ie the ego not meeting the excessive demands of the id) in the behavior of a man.
Intense sexual excitements can also be stimulated by sexual enhancement drugs.
Many thanks for your thoughtful feedback. With respect to the famous psychologist Sigmund Freud, we must remember that his philosophy is not the last word. A man cannot be called a (sufficiently developed) man if he is driven entirely by instinct. We are human because we have an evolving conscious mind. If we were driven only by the subconscious mind, we would not be human at all.
If someone's sexual excitement becomes dangerous for that person and others in the society, then it must be called an illness. There can be many reasons behind this illness, such as the presence of toxins that irritate various body systems. These toxins can be self-acquired and/or inherited. Irregular lifestyle, abuse of the body and mental causes can also lead to the release of toxins from special endocrine glands in the body. These toxins can cause excessive sexual arousal.
