Hello everyone,

I am working on designing a PV plant to supply energy for an industrial site with a daily consumption of about 45,500 kWh. My goal is to supply between 10% to 100% of the energy demand using solar power. I set the minimal capacity shortage to 1% and 5%.

I am using market data for CAPEX and OPEX and have included two types of PV panels with capacities of 0.39 kW and 8.2 kW. However, when I run the model, I frequently encounter the following errors:

  • Not enough generation capacity
  • Not enough annual capacity shortage allowed
  • Emission limitation
  • Minimum renewable fraction

I adjusted the upper limits of PV capacity in the optimization settings, but the errors persist. Interestingly, when I remove the constraint on the renewable fraction, the errors disappear.

Can anyone provide guidance on how to resolve these errors without removing the renewable fraction constraint? Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
