I have a problem with the selection of appropriate statistical analysis methods to analyze qualitative data quantitatively.

In our study we used two methods: quantitative questionnaire and qualitative semistructured interview. The both method ask about the same: Distribution of six variables in seven situations.

The questionnaire was analyzed using ANOVA with repeated measures: for each variable a separate ANOVA was calculated, where Within Subject Factor was the six situations. Posthoc was LSD Method. In this way, we could see if and how the variables differ within a situation.

Now I would like to calculate the same for the qualitative data. The data were already entered in SPSS as dichotomous expressions (1-present, 0-absent). Next step would be to calculate a Generilized Linear Model. But I have doubts that it is actually the most appropriate method.
