Hi,

I am trying to customize a TR FRET kit for the specific analyte that I need to detect. For that I am planning to use, an antibody labeled with Terbium (donor) and the other antibody labeled with FITC (acceptor). I am trying to select 2 antibodies that recognize different epitopes of the analyte so they don't compete. I know that if both are monoclonal recognizing a different epitope would be good, but I am afraid that if for example epitopes are too close, there are steric forces between antibodies, preventing their binding to the analyte. I am not sure if any or both of these antibodies could be polyclonal so they have freedon to move and bind other epitopes.

I hope to have made myself clear heheh.

Thank you very much for reading!!!
