les temps de rétention de par exemple DAD et TIC ne sont généralement pas les mêmes. Si vous travaillez avec un système LC/MS, le DAD est souvent fixé à la sortie de la colonne. Ensuite, le flux est divisé et une partie du flux entre dans la SEP. Physiquement, le pic TIC ne peut pas se produire en même temps que le pic DAD parce que la SEP est derrière le DAD. Cependant, cette temporisation peut être mesurée et enregistrée dans le logiciel d'exploitation. De cette façon, les temps de rétention des DAD et des MS sont ajustés, c'est-à-dire qu'une affectation claire des spectres MS aux pics DAD respectifs est possible.

the retention times of e.g. DAD and TIC are usually not the same. If you work with an LC/MS system, the DAD is often attached to the column outlet. Then the flow is split and a part of it gets into the MS. Physically, the TIC peak cannot occur at the same time as the DAD peak because the MS is behind the DAD. However, this time delay can be measured and stored in the operating software. In this way, the retention times of DAD and MS are adjusted, i.e. a clear assignment of MS spectra to the respective DAD peaks is possible.
