Hello every one .Hope you will be fine i want to model low cycle fatigue in ABAQUS for buried pipeline .Please guide to model during modelling in material section which additional properties should be defined apart from Elastic ,Plastic and Density.I have attached Pic of dynamic modelling.
From Abaqus you can get the stresses and deformations and then apply manually the low-cycle fatigue curves (such as Cofin-Manson). Otherwise you should define the failure criteria in Abaqus under the properties of the Material.

In case the pipeline is a composite structure (glass fiber reinforced plastic) , please account that no yielding are recognized and the material's behavior is practically brittle.
For a buried pipeline, I think effect of temperature variation should be considered.
