Emma is 13, she has talent for art and sport. It's easy for her to play a beautiful guitar tune with emotion, and no girls run faster than her in PE class.

However she struggles in Maths, a subject which she could never achieve grade B+. It's hard to say on which she should focus at this age, and Emma doesn't love Maths more, only wants to prove something in school.

What can we do? 13 is a special age period, and it's impossible to change the environment immediately, what are the better ways to help pupils be aware of their talents?
