Am new to the reanalysis data, but i understood bit about it. Me working on spatial distribution of rainfall at 0.25deg (25KM) resolution data. So am thinking to map the CAPE over the study region for monthly or Annual Average. Anyone help me to calculate the CAPE for my region in easiest way to understand the spatial variation of CAPE from ECMWF or any other high spatial resolution data. I want to represent the CAPE in 2D plot (GIS Map).

See this paper for an example of how this was done, just for a different region of interest: http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/asl.601/full . The formulae you need are either all in there, or easy to find elsewhere. There is a fortran program that calculates CAPE here: http://www2.mmm.ucar.edu/people/bryan/Code/getcape.F .
CAPE is nonlinear, so just make sure you calculate CAPE for each separate snapshot in time before you do any averaging at all. In other words, calculate the average of CAPE, not the CAPE of any average.
You could use GrADS (http://cola.gmu.edu/grads/) or similar plotting software to display your 2-D maps. Once you see the full horizontal patterns, and how they vary over time, that should help you a lot to understand what is going on.
