I am working on the speed control of the induction motor. I am using a Quadrature encoder having two inputs QEPA and QEPB and having a resolution of 48ppr. code is generated through an embedded coder in MATLAB/SIMULINK. But I can't able to measure the speed properly. I have gone through the many articles, every article mentioned about the encoder having three inputs QEPA, QEPB, and Index pulse. Can anyone suggest me how to calculate the speed of induction motor having two inputs from the encoder
