I am looking for everything that explain the manufacturing processes, the advantages, the drawbacks, and so on of titanium alloys used for exhaust systems in automotive. Moreover, I am interested in the cost field of those.

Of the top of my head
Advantages:
- lighter than the steel alloys usually used for exhaust manifolds (important for any type of car)
Disadvantages:
- More complex deformation behavior
- welding can require special conditions (no oxygen)
Fabrication techniques would be impacted (just guessing). May need special welding process to join components. Generally speaking exhaust systems are created from light weight thin walled tubing. Tube benders and swaging machines could possibly have a difficult time if the titanium alloy has different properties. Catalytic converters sometimes get red hot, titanium itself does rapidly oxidize ( burn) so that could be a problem.

I would say, the 10 000 USD as price of single exhaust is sort of big drawback for most interest customers...

The main question is: Why would one want to have a titanium-based exhaust system for cars? Volkswagen together with VDM Metals Titanium carried out a nice case-study by producing (and testing) a titanium exhaust system (alloy based on CP-Titanium Grade 1S) for a Volkswagen Golf [1]. By replacing steel with titanium, about 8.5kg of weight could have been saved. Unfortunately, weight was saved in the wrong position (bottom/back of the car). As the price of CP-Titanium (compared to stainless steel) is about a factor of 15 (higher) and in the car industries cost really is one of the driving factors, titanium will most likely never make it into car mass production. Nonetheless, titanium exhaust systems are available e.g. for the Bugatti Veyron and other cars of the high/top-price segment, most probably due to design reasons.
In motorcycles, titanium exhaust systems are state-of-the-art, e.g. produced/sold by Akrapovic (check their webpage for further information). As CP-Titanium or standard alloys like Ti 6Al 4V are not the best choice (due to oxygen pick-up, alpha-case formation and oxidation above approx. 600°C), a typical alloy would be Timetal XT (Ti 0.45Si 0.25Fe), rolled sheet material. Here, weight save occurs in the right position (top), the raw-material price is comparably lower and the exhaust system is clearly visible.
