Hi! I was wondering if anyone could offer some "best practices" when working with a complex system for maintaining sterility and preventing DNA contamination, as well as for preventing sample loss.
I'm working specifically with a tangential flow filtration system equipped with a 10L glass tank, pump, polyethersulfone membrane, and tubing/connections. I haven't began using it yet for sample processing (river water, in my case) but I can see that there are a lot of moving parts and potential areas for contamination and sample loss. If you have any suggestions for ways to minimize error in these areas when working with large devices, I would greatly appreciate your input!
Thank you!
