Though the potential of processing nano-steel and nano-castiron for novel applications is immense, the realizations are meager. Why? Carbon's polymorphic and allotropic forms can be best used in Steel and cast irons where you need less than 6 wt % of their additions. But this change over is not happening in any appreciable way . Why  and what could be the reason that hampers their usage?
