Now that we have an Article Influence Score (AIS) to rate ourselves, can it be used as a career measure?

Now that we have an Article Influence Score to rate our selves ( It is measured by not just the number of times you were cited but in what impact factor journals) the ranking gets more refined. But how influential can it be in your research career, promotions and recognition ? Will it face the same problem that h-index faced ( From i10s, m-index and R factors) or will a single article influence score help?
