Exercise and time to fatigue are very different in young and old mice. The research we perform tries to apply this to aging humans (obviously very different from mice). So I was wondering if this phenomenon continued in older (>1 year old) mice? The running wheel may reflect a situation "like" the 6-minute walk, but in this study there really was no difference in run time or distance. The treadmill test might have been more indicative, but at a 0-degree incline, work cannot be calculated. Have you continued this work?
