It doesn't really look like "Windows 7" is the best thing to tag the error with. This looks like it has more to do with either the Visual Fortran runtime library, or perhaps even with the specific program you are running. Can you add more detail about what you refer to as "a program"? We really don't have a lot of information to go on...

Its a statistical program known as "Canoco" for analyze multivariate data (http://www.wageningenur.nl/en/show/Canoco-for-visualization-of-multivariate-data.htm).

update it..... 4.5 wont work with vista or newer version of window that come after the program was published

Canoco 4.5 released before Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8 was released

do not work with them, while versions 4.55 and 4.56 do. You can either contact Canoco distributor or to download

the updater on their own from the following place:

http://www.canodraw.com/updt_456.exe

Please note that the updater - like the Canoco 4.5 installation itself -

must be run from an account with administrative rights.
