Can we have a list of these factors leading to variation in fatality rates of COVID19
as well as those affecting transmission rate e.g Behavioral response of leaders to pandemic with example ,type of testing and testing rates.etc any suggession
Implementation of quarantine, mutual cooperation in leaders /functionaries, availability of medicines /equipment, use of preventive measures, social distancing, self responsibility, early implementation and maintenance of lock down, movement if repatriate after declaration of first covid-19 case etc are the different factors which more or lesser resulted in higher or lesser fatality rate
I have found this very intersting document that brings together all the prevalence studies and calculates the IFR (Infection fatality rate) based on it. It is constantly updated. At the time I consulted it, there was an undercount of 1:25 and an IFR of 0.2%. Link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zC3kW1sMu0sjnT_vP1sh4zL0tF6fIHbA6fcG5RQdqSc/edit#gid=0
Absence of widespread and systematic testing, Implementation of quarantine, availability of medicines, availability of beds in ICU and ventilators, social distancing, early implementation of lock down etc are the different factors which have effect on fatality rate due to COVID-19.
