Contreras for sharing this link, the subject is really interesting, but the important role of communication skills between the medical student and the patient remains in the process of acquiring learning and experience. We are watching a lot of educational and explanatory videos on YouTube, we are talking about a medical student who wants to learn to be a doctor, but this is very different from reality, especially in the delivery rooms or operating theaters, you must have a real patient to distinguish the big difference between the picture and the real patient. The skills are acquired from concrete reality and not just by looking.

I meant if it is a VTP or CTP, if the teaching portfolio is prepared keeping in mind that we are going to transfer knowledge and skills to the knowledge seekers and the VTP or CTP is rich in resources, techniques and pedagogical ways to influence and help the students to understand complex phenomena. There is no harm if we put ourselves in the shoes of students and critically analyze practical value of the VTP or CTP, then we can really contribute towards learning and teaching. If the VTP is not in accordance with the curriculum Program or Course learning outcomes, then it is meaningless and is just a formality.

Totally agree with your reasonig Prof. Muhammad Shoaib Ahmedani , that if the VTP is not in accordance with the curriculum Program or CLO then it is meaningless.

Also your point is taken regarding the no harm issue if we put ourselves in the shoes of students and critically analyze practical value of the VTP or CTP.
