In order to solve the problem, first may I know what type of membrane you are using?any other details about the membrane and the system .

Our membrane is UF PVDF that is synthesized in phase inversion method. After having the membrane cast on the glass plate and put in coagulation bath, it was put in a bath mixed with water and Glycerol for a specific time. Then, one sample of the membrane was dried in the ambient temperature and another sample in 70 °C oven. Flux and Rejection results were significantly different. I'm looking for the reason.

In my opinion, what happened is: Increasing the drying temperature seem to cause structural and morphology changes in network pores by increasing its pore size of the polymeric skin layer while at the same time decreasing pore density, which in turn leads to negative influence on membrane tortuosity which is caused a reduced in the performance of the membranes.

According to you (increase in pore size of the polymeric skin layer),we expect the Flux to increase and Rejection to decrease. But, in our case, both of them have decreased.

We can't understand this.
