The Raman peaks of diamond after laser irradiation have 1332 cm-1 (diamond) and 2644 cm-1 (2D peak of graphene ). What is this material? This appears to be missing G peak of graphene.
G-band is in plane graphene, but it seems that you have oxide and no in plane C-C bonds, that’s why maybe the G peak is missing. Another thing that can be take in count is the integration time during the analysis this will help to plot intense peaks that are weaker and through higher integrations time the system can get more count numbers … if nothing is happening I would say that you can change the annealing temperature that will result in a defect in sp2 bonded carbon of GO.
