I would like to model a chamber with fluid and to understand the temperature and material transfer occuring due to chemical reactions through pipe at the top. Is it possible to use it using Labview
In biogas digestors complex reactions take place. And it produces heat. Literature suggests that this vary from top to bottom of the gas digestor. Also heat transfer and mass transfer effects take place resulting in varied temperature profile whole throughout the system. So, I would like to model and simulate how this can vary according to time and how the increase in temperature and other chemicals produced affects the complex process that go in inside.
Would a MATLAB simulation or a Labview simulation would be an easier option provided I have heat and energy balance equations and kinetic equations for biological heat production inside it.
I'd strongly suggest _not_ using LabVIEW - as Karol points out, LabVIEW is poorly equipped for this sort of simulation.
If you have a reaction in a vessel, that has an exhaust pipe attached to it, and are trying to model the mass flux through the pipe, then can you not model the vapour pressure of the reactants and have a pseudo-1D model to predict the temperature of the reacting liquids?
