The hexagonal boron nitride powder synthesised via the tube furnace flies off from the crucible during the synthesis and gathers at the cooler end of the furnace.
Can somebody suggest a possible solution for the same as all my synthesised products are gathering at one end of the tube furnace
You may have too much gas (high gas velocity) in your oven and light powder is simply blown away. If so, you can use either lower gas pressure or gas barriers (for example, a lid on the crucible) inside the furnace.

This process has an advantage. By this you can deposite the flies off vapour at the top of the substract in the form of thin film. For this you have to place the substracts at the top of the crucible (covering crucible with substract). If not interested in thin film, then you have to cover the crucible with its cap and should slow down the argon gas flow or you have to run the process in the presence of vacuum at least 30 mTorr.
