I recently posted about a logical contradiction established between the use of the Dirac delta function and point particles, but I did get a bunch of feedback about how the Gaussian distribution can get around it. The proof provided did account for the Gaussian distribution, but this confusion has led me to specifically address the use of limits in relation to point particles as well. I would appreciate any feedback (start at the bottom of page 11). Thank you.
