For those in the colleges of business, ABDC and Scopus are more acceptable because of their possible citation advantages. Most of the journals in ISI are also in both ABDC and Scopus. For me, instead of attempting to bother one's life wanting the ISI for the sake of it, one should just put in their best work and attempt to get it into one of these top indexed journals without considering whether it is ISI or Scopus. The focus should be on doing a quality paper. Let the chips fall where they may. The salary and promotions are not based only on your research

Scopus has a broader journal coverage, meaning that most “ISI journals” are also “Scopus journals” but traditionally ISI has a more elitist approach to including journals. The two systems have slightly different criteria and slightly different functionality, but given that most ISI journals are also Scopus journals, there is no inherent difference between journals carrying one label or the other.
I think both (Scopus and ISI) are good to publish your work but the better choice is Scopus. Due to Scopus covers a wider journal range and offer increase the capability for citation analysis.
