The changes of intratumor immune cell components after immunotherapy

Recently, we performed different immunotherapy strategies for 4T1 tumor treatment. We found that initatial therapy could improve dendritic cells and CD8+ T activation. However, after that, intracellular DCs and CD8+T cells decreased with time. what's the reason? We have not found a reasonale explanation for that.

Do you have more information on tumor growth responsiveness or cytokines in the TME? It could easily be that the tumor is escaping. In my experience, 4T1 is a difficult tumor model for immunotherapy
