The antifungal Nystatin is very good antifungal compound which prevent the growth of fungi and allow the bacteria to grow successfully. But it must be added after sterilization of the medium. You can add it with a percent of 50 mg per each liter medium.

The triazoles (Fluconazole and Itraconazole) are good antifungal agents against many fungi and prevent fungal growth in vitro. But, I prefer Nystatin more. We always use it in our laboratorial experiments.
