While scientific research is improving its ability to provide scientists with increasingly more qualitative and quantitative detailed information, technology is providing the public with tools which are conditioning them to ignore details--true or false?

technology and research are, in my opinion, closely connected.
The development methods are different but they are two sides of the same coin. A good research depends a lot on how it is planned and conducted but the data obtained and evaluated are the result of increasingly advanced technologies, with a high degree of accuracy and precision and these parameters depend on the development of instrumentation that a researcher is alone. partially able to understand while a technology expert knows exactly which are the parameters to keep under control to obtain the best experimental result.
To clarify my thinking with an example, I compare the research system with Formula 1. The pilot who drives the prototype (researcher) is the one who with his skill and creativity must win the race but requires the engineers (experts in the sector) a car with certain characteristics in order to make the best times. Of course, both the driver and the engineers know the car and its technology, but one drives it and one modifies it in order to obtain the best results.

Thank you very much for your reply to my RG discussion question, and I agree with your statement that "Technology cannot do without science." Even though technology emerges and benefits from scientific research, its material existence, in the form of products which are utilized by the public, is significantly different from the scientific methodologies and principles which form the basis of its existence as a separate entity. I agree with your perspective that technology is compatible with scientific research because without science, technology would not exist. Best regards.

I agree with your view that my question is very generalized and it is possible that it cannot be applied to your scientific research field. Do you know of any scientific research being done in your specialization by other scientists whose work intersects with technology? Or perhaps you have found that technology is compatible with your scientific research. Do you utilize computers as tools in any aspect of your work, such as compiling, storing, or analyzing data?
Recently, I was working on a research project and I discovered a publication that is only available as a "Kindle" work. I wanted to make a brief direct quote of a sentence in this work, and I am used to referencing not only the author, title, and similar factual information, including other relevant information, such as the specific page number on which the citation appears. But the electronically available work does not have pagination. Of course, I can still quote from this work, and any others in the same category, but the fact that it does not have any page numbers gives me the distinct impression that works such as this one are meant to be read but not utilized for the purpose of scholarly or scientific research. Is it really a matter of categorization? Or is it a question of business economics? Would it be less cost effective for an electronic publication to also include pagination in its format? From my perspective, the absence of page numbers suggests a more comprehensive approach, which is fine in and of itself, but the down-side is the sacrifice of numerical detailing aptitude. Furthermore, when people read a book for the reading experience, and not for research, they often do not have time to read it all in one sitting, and it would be helpful if the book were paginated so that they will know on which page on which to resume their reading. This is just one example of the trade-off in which the convenience that technological innovation offers may be offset by the loss of some attribute, which suggests that, in some cases, technology causes a departure from norms established, norms that may be linked to the importance accorded to numerical designations, precision, and factual accuracy such as are adhered to in the scientific and academic domains.

Dear Watanabe. Me , my professors, and my students been working applied science, and the soft were of computer work was and still very helpful for us. This help is so clear when you have millions of numbers to add or multiply, these so lengthy equations can't be done by hand with that accuracy and efficiency. Thank you for you question.
The question is simple in appearance but its answer is important to outline future research in scientific and applicative contexts. In the past, the perfection of the scanning microscope is one of many cases.
