Biophilic environment, or contact with the natural environment is a fundamental component of well-being says theorist Edward O. Wilson (1984), especially for people living in highly urbanized area where health problems such as stress and mental fatigue becomes a normal occurrence. In making good social places, specific for a multi-cultural community in the rises, it is an underlying consideration that they should always be reflective to the needs of the people who live there or will be living there. Biophlic Cities are one of the "sustainable development" planned adopted by some cities globally but I am interested in the social contribution potential (or continued lack of) that will be affected by this theory. Any thoughts?
