I'm trying to find the relation between the temperature-dependency of the saturation current of a junction diode in the Spice model and the temperature dependency of the textbook equation of semiconductor physics books.
Can anyone help?

(I see that the relevant equation is having close relationship with the "physical" equation. I hope this is what you are looking for.)

Thanks. I'll take a look. The equations I've found so far in the different reference guides are in a way similar to the physical equations - but they are not the same. I assume they are valid under a particular set of conditions...

When I was a masters student, I had taken 2 courses related with modeling and simulation of semiconductor devices. In one of them, our main source was the following book (the edition of those years, actually):
Semiconductor Device Modeling with SPICE
by Paolo Antognetti, Giuseppe Massobrio
I remember that I had made use of it a lot.
I don't know exactly how this latest edition differs from that old edition, but I guess you can find useful information there.
For sure, there are some other books as well.
