Target amplitude cannot be reached?

I work with a JPK Nanowizard 4, and though the calibration spectrum looks fine, and the corresponding resonance frequency reasonable, when I run AC Feedback Mode Wizard to select the resonance peak, the program warns me "Target amplitude cannot be reached! Try to select a frequency range around the resonance peak!". The cantilever is new, and firmly tightened in the cantilever holder, so I cannot determine the source of error. Is anyone familiar with this problem?
