I am conducting a global survey as part of my PhD research work.This survey is the third phase of our research plan. The findings of the survey will contribute to the development of our proposed Software Integration Model (SIM) for GSD vendors.

The SIM is expected to assist GSD vendors in successful and effective integration of software components/products. We conducted two systematic literature review (SLR), one for the identification of software integration success factors and barriers in GSD environment and another for the identification of their practices/solutions. As a result we identified 14 success factors and 16 barriers. Similarly we identified 132 practices/solutions. The purpose of conducting this survey is to validate our findings of the SLRs through industry practitioners in GSD environment and to find some additional factors and solutions, if any. For this purpose, we would like to invite you for participation in the survey. I shall require your feedback regarding validation of my these findings.
