Is it good to provide a list of suggested reviewers, it is sometimes asked? What are the pros and cons?
Also, I believe that the one who submit a paper, should mention that all the co-authors are willing to review relevant manuscripts if submitted in the same research area?

I think generally no is an answer for both questions.
When the journal asks you to provide reviewers you do not have to give some answers. The pros of offering names is 1) faster peer review especially in areas where an editor may not be able to find appropriate reviewers and 2) get a positive review from one of the people you suggest. However, this does not mean that the journal will use your suggestions. I think a more useful think and I think is appropriate is ruling out reviewers, eg say that you don't want a specific person in the peer review process. This can happen for a number of obvious reasons and don't need to ellaborate I think!
If a journal really needs input from you, the editor it will come back and directly ask you to provide names if they cannot secure suitable reviewers.
Generally, journals ask you to review papers after either you present a strong bibliography and of course an e-mail on at least one of your published manuscripts so they can reach you. If you publish 10 papers and there is no contact info of you, then who is going to find you? Another way is to directly contact specific journals and offer cv and suggest to put you in their review team.
At least this has been my experience thus far.
