I have been looking for studies done that compare the congener retention differences between differently shaped glassware. It is "known" that bulb shaped nosing glassware "concentrate" congeners in the glass that evaporate from spirits like whisky or other alcoholic beverages like wine. I cannot however find thermodynamic studies that explain this retention and how it differs between glassware shapes.
