There are many components in soybean oil. they are mainly triglyceride. after alcoholysis (or Transesterification), several fatty acid methyl esters are its main ingredients. They are palmitic (16:0) about 10.7 wt.%, stearic (18:0) about 3.2%, oleic (18:1) about 25.0%, linoleic (18:2) about 53.2%, linolenic (18:3) about 5.4%, other 2.6% fatty acid methyl esters. Different breeds and origins are slightly different.
