I am interested to distinguish -a) when a street protest remains a street protest (even if it gathers a very high number of people) and b) when it its considered a Revolution. Lately protests call themselves "revolutions", although they do not intend to overthrow or profoundly change the institutional/political structure of the state. Do all protests have potentially the seeds of a revolution?
