I'd like to know how to deal with this kind of error usually? is it because something wrong with my model script or the variables' values I set? Many thanks.
There are many reasons for such failures. On reason would be that one or more of your variables might be exceeding it's bounds due to improper defining of bounds, or due to wrong structure of the code that has led to incorrect value for that variable. The variable that has shown this error will be mentioned in the messages window.
This usually occurs in Aspen when a calculation is dividing by zero. I suggest you check any initial values (that would result in initializing a zero divisor) and that all variable units are correct.
You may have zero values during calculations. Change them to 1e-10 or something like that.
May I ask if your problem has been solved? I'm also experiencing this problem, can you raise some solution ideas ah?
