Which software would provide me with the ability to conduct hypothesis driven statistical analysis on social network measures. Example:
Does the centralization of network A differ statistically significantly when compared with network B
Are central leaders significantly more likely to indulge in any behavior etc.
Any reference to a book, paper describing specific tests or methods would be appreciated.

Any density algorithm should be available any most commercial stat softwares and allow for stat-significance testing/s.

anyway, if your data is available you can use commercial tools such as SPSS and Matlab, or open softwares such as Octave.
But if your area of research tight with real-time simulation, then you should specify your problem space first.
