i'm looking for the method to find the starting torque for my electric bike weighing 120 kg with a load of 150 kg. i'm confused with the friction force which will come into play as the wheel tends to move.
If i'm taking the static friction the torque required is coming out much more.
i'm attaching the calculation which i have done taking the static friction. please tell what am i missing?

Torque can be measured by so called finsh type starin gages to be glued on the surface of the object you want to measure torque on. In fact a fish type strain gage is a 45 degree design to pick up shear forces. To read out a signal you have to realize a wheatstone brigde. ->see www.hbm.com
