I'm looking for a standard procedure to degradate lignin using laccase in order to reduce the color of lignin.
The method should be as much bio as possible.
As I am not very experienced in the field of bacteria, I'm planning to use commerical laccase (Trametes versicolor, 0.5 U/mg)
In literatur, the methods of the procedure differ very widely, espacially regarding the loading of laccase (U/g of substrate) and the usage of mediators.
Could you suggest any standard procedure or literature?
I appreciate any hint.
