Srtm 30m Dem data has significantly less data coverage in Nepal region; even NasaDEM modified version of SRTM is not precise in that region, I have tried a fill function by which via idw interpolation I filled the gaps of those dem in that region, but since the holes in dem data extend up to 10km it is not scientifically justified to interpolate in that large region. Even after this kind of dem gaps filling interpolation algorithm, further processing using that dem like Slope, Aspect, etc. map carry forward those errors... Can anyone suggest any solution regarding how to fill those gaps in the srtm data?
