I want to sort cells in metaphase using FACS, by specific metaphase markers.

1. Which markers of metaphase would be relevant?

2. I tried fixing the cells with ethanol and staining for H3S10ph. Will this fixation affects the results of a western blot/qPCR for a specific protein?

3. Are there fluorescent vectors that will allow sorting of live cells?

3b. Are there any FUCCI vectos with colors specific to m-phase or to mitotic subphases?
