We work with pigmented bacteria like Chromobacterium violaceum, Pesudomonas aeruginosa, etc. Sometime they spontaneously loose the property of pigment production. How can we solve this problem?
I also request suggestion for any special media for pyocyanin production by P. aeruginosa. Does incubation temp have an impact on pigmentation in this organism, as it happens in Serratia.

It all depends on the proper medium (e.g. MHA for P. aeruginosa), and also pH ( P.aeruginosa pigment may turn colourless or reddish in acidic pH),.,.,
